Let the wise listen and add to their learning...

Why add to your learning? Your worship can go no deeper than your understanding. After all, how can you praise what you do not know? By contrast, the more and more you learn about God, the more and more reasons you have to love and praise Him! This is the heart behind addtoyourlearning.com

Bible Question of the Week

“House Churches”

What does the Bible say about “house churches”? – Joanna (Switzerland)

“It’s interesting that you should ask this. The early church was built around Jewish family circles which often met in homes (Acts 2:42-47). You will find references to Christians meeting in houses (Romans 16:3-5; 1 Corinthians 16:19), hence the term “house churches.”

I believe this phenomenon (strategy?) of congregating and spreading out in small groups, which greatly contributed to the growth of the early church, should be explored much more in today’s contexts.
